Indonesia is made of thousands of islands, with its history going back to the true origin of gastronomy and food, starting with the trade in spices between our country and India, China and the Middle East, which resulted in the wealth of the ancient Indonesian monarchies.

In recent times we've remained one of the world's biggest suppliers, not only of spices like nutmeg, vanilla, pepper and cloves, but also coffee, tea and tobacco. Because of its mix of many different cultures, including Chinese, Malay, Indian and Dutch inherited from the colonial times, as well as local tribes, Indonesia has developed a culinary tradition truly unique and fascinating.

In addition, as tourism has become one of the main sources of revenue in our country, we are blessed with numerous top hotels and resorts, featuring international chefs who combine western food technology with the culture of the east, resulting in a culinary destination for foreign visitors. Together with experienced sommeliers who create perfect food & wine matches, coupled with attentive service and an exotic ambiance wherever we hold our dinner events, Indonesian Chaine dinners never fail to turn into memorable experiences !

At the moment our National Bailliage includes two Chapters, Jakarta and Bali. Both hold at least 6 dinners every year, together with one National Grand Chapitre for the annual Induction ceremony.
